BWCA Canoe Rental & Food Package

Have everything you need for your next Boundary Waters Canoe Trip and just need a kevlar canoe rental & trail food? Then this package is for you. We are located 7 miles from Ely Minnesota and close to many Entry/Exit points of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Moose Track Adventures, a Boundary Waters Outfitter, has been guiding and outfitting wilderness canoe trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Quetico for over 20 years and consider the Boundary Waters our backyard.

Canoe, Cookware & Food Package Includes:

  • ultra-light kevlar canoe
  • bent shaft paddles
  • life vest
  • cook kit – pots w/lids (stove/fuel is extra)
  • cooking & eating utensils
  • ultra-light food with food pack
  • Bear rope hang system

* lunch & dinner is included for the first day on the water
* breakfast & lunch included for the last day on the water
* all other days include 3 meals a day

$78 per person/per day
(minimum 2 people/3 days)
MN Sales Tax, MN fishing licenses, BWCA camping fees ($16 per adult & $8 per youth) and BWCA Permits ($10 per permit) are not included with the rates above

Deposits, Cancellations, etc:

Deposits: A deposit of $100 per group for Partial Outfitting is required to hold a reservation.  We will email an invoice in Quickbooks, which then you click through and pay with a bank transfer with in 3 days.

Your Equipment Responsibilities: You are financially responsible for any damage or loss of equipment rented from Moose Track Adventures during your trip and will be charged accordingly for repair or replacement of the item. Cook Kits MUST be returned CLEAN or charged $35.  Renter will be shown the equipment prior to use and it will be examined at the end of use. Renter will sign & agrees to be responsible for and promptly pay for any damage to the equipment caused during the rental period.  We do require a credit card at the time of signing the rental agreement for damage deposit.

Final Payment: Payment in full is required upon check-in. We accept MasterCard, Visa, money orders, travelers checks and cash. We will accept personal checks only if received within 30 days before the date of reservation. ***CUSTOMER PRICING NOTICE – Please note that a 3.5% service charge is applied to all sales.  Pay by Cash/Check & Save.  As an incentive for our valued customers, we now provide a discount to pay with cash or check by giving a 3.5% instant discount on the service charge as mentioned on our website and email confirmations.

Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation of reservation, deposit fees are nonrefundable. The deposits (minus permit, camping fees and $35 service fee) will be applied towards a future trip with Moose Track Adventures during this season or next year.

Refunds: There are no refunds for complete or partial outfitting trips that end early, for equipment returned early, or for any unused food, transportation or accommodations that were reserved.

We are a Cooperator with the USDA Forest Service under the Superior National Forest. We issue permits into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. As a Cooperator with the Forest Service, we are an equal opportunity service-provider.
