FREE Wireless High-Speed Internet Access
Need to check emails and don't want to run into town with your computer to an internet cafe or the library? You could always plug in to the office while the rest of your group rest right here at Moose Track Adventures. Resort guest can now enjoy free wireless high-speed internet access at our cabins & lodge.
Is There a Fee?
No. Moose Track Adventures is providing this service at no cost to our guests. Guests must supply their own equipment.
What Do I need to use the free High-Speed Internet?
You need a laptop or notebook computer equipped with a wireless Ethernet card (802.11b or 802.11g). The card may be an add-on card installed in your computers PCMCIA slot or may be built into your laptop. The software drivers to operate the wireless cards must also be installed and configured properly. You must also have a standard internet browser application such as Internet Explorer or Netscape to browse the internet or a mail application to retrieve email.
Is the Network Secure?
The Moose Track Adventures Free High-Speed internet is as secure as any open public access network. It is recommended that all antivirus software as well as any other security applications that are being used such as firewalls and anti-spyware are up to date before connecting to the network. It is always a good idea to make sure that you are on a SSL encrypted web page before transmitting or receiving confidential data. The guest is responsible for ensuring their computer is secure and that they access safe content through the free internet service being provided.
How Do I connect?
If your computer is configured for wireless networking then it should automatically connect to our free High-Speed Internet service. If configured properly, you should be able to open up your internet browser and start accessing the internet. There are no fees or time limits.
